Today I photographed a beautiful young local girl and rising softball star Kawehi. We were blessed with a perfect west side afternoon to roam Waimea and take photos. Her parents Larry and Sherri came along and shared some of their memories of growing up on the west side. Great family, rasing a great young woman. I have no doubt her future is limitless.
The, oh so lovely, Sierra McEvoy asked if I’d shoot her Senior portraits. I’ve known he and her family for years now and I must say that they are a great family. Their little girl is almost grown up… seems like only yesterday…. blah blah blah. Sierra was a joy to photograph. Easy going, great look, confident. Made my job easy.

What a great couple these two are. Fun, easy to talk to, a real joy to be around. They were the first I’ve seen to live stream their wedding for friends and family back home. (great idea I might add) Nate and Shana are very comfortable with each other. Like a couple of puzzle pieces they just seem to click and fit perfect.

Matt and Chika Twigg are a great looking, very polite couple that I was fortunate enough to photograph their wonderfully simple Kauai wedding. As you may know the weather this summer has been rather odd. But on the day the Twiggs get married the summer finally shows its warm face and the day was perfect.

After photographing their son Hawk, Tom and Amanda wanted to get their kids in front of the camera as well. Their son Gabe is an cheerful , friendly, camera ham. (that’s a good thing) he takes his roll as big brother serious as he was carefully holding his little brother Hawk whilst cheering on his sister Ava. Ava, on the other hand, spent the day excited to do pictures and had only a little excitement left to give once picture time came by. She did great though and we got great photos of the Frisbee kids

Hawk Frisbee was born into a loving and full family. His father Tom serves in the Coast Guard and his mother is busy chasing the three Frisbee kids around the island.

Ikika is one of Americas brave sons who serves over seas in the Army. Brooks is his beautiful and patient wife. This Christmas Ikaika came home for a few short but sweet days. I had the privilege of photographing the two of them on one of there precious few days together. My prayer is that all the men and women serving in our armed forces will return home safe.

Meet my son. West Wilder Bundschuh. Born august 29th 2010. Heathy and happy. My wonderful wife is doing great. West has such a busy life staring at dad staring back at him. 10/10/10 @ 10:00 J.R. and Chris were married here on Kauai. What made their ceremony extra special was Chris’ son Bret. A mild mannered young man who took a leading role in his mother marriage to J.R. It was a great beginning to a new family.
